Day 01      Arrive Lucknow.

Upon arrival by a morning train you will be met assisted and transferred to your Hotel Gemini Continental or similar for 03 nights. Check-in and day up to Lunch at disposal. Lunch will be served at the hotel and during lunch we screen a special Mutiny Video Presentation. Post Lunch we take a tour of The Lucknow Residency - the epicenter of the siege. Later we visit Hazratganj, an anglicised market place - we also visit Ram Advani's book store, a shop that houses some of the finest books and meet Ram himself, who happens to be the most knowledgeable person on Lucknow, its integration and disintegration too. You also have an option of visiting the light & sound show at The Residency or visit a shopping mall. Dinner at a local restaurant, back to hotel and overnight.

Day02       Lucknow

Breakfast at hotel, post breakfast our day today will include a visit to the Sikander Bagh and the extraordinary edifice of the La Martiniere School and Hodson's tomb. We will also visit Moti Mahal and the magnificent Imambaras. An exclusive Awadhi lunch will be served at the residence of an erstwhile Nawab on a floor level setting. We divide our tours as pre and post lunch. Evening Back to hotel for a movie show - "Mangal Pandey". Overnight at hotel. 

Day 03     Lucknow / Kanpur / Bithur / Kanpur / (or back to Lucknow) further

After an early breakfast we check-out and drive to Kanpur, en-route visiting Havelock's Tomb. Arrive Kanpur. No traveller visits Kanpur unless with Cawnpore in mind and even then much has to be viewed in imagination with suitable texts to follow the action, for few signs remain. Here our expert guide will be invaluable. Today Kanpur is a sprawling industrial town with a military camp almost exactly as the British left it. Morning visit to the site of Wheeler’s Entrenchment inside the Cantonment and the adjacent All Souls Church with brass memorials to some of the central victims and survivors of the massacres as well as a series of marble panels engraved with more than a thousand victims’ names. We will then visit Satichaura Ghat on the Ganges. Also visit the Bibighar. Afterwards we will drive to Bithur and Nana Rao Park. Evening return to Kanpur and board your night train for onward destination with Packed Dinner. Tour Ends.
